Autumn 2019 @ Old Parsonage House

With so much to do at this time of year here are a few suggestions for things to do whilst staying with us during this ever changing, colourful season.

National Trusts Stourhead is always a fantastic display of natural beauty at this time of the year, for truly stunning autumn colours check out Stourhead’s website for the best time to visit.

As always Longleat has plenty of attractions for Autumn, not only are the Safari, House and Gardens open for selected dates (check Longleat’s site for opening times) but they also have a fantastic line-up to tempt you along for family fun:-

26th October – 3rd November – Great British Autumn – fun activities including spooky pumpkin carving, sand art, meet the owls in the Longhouse and solve the Pumpkin trail.

24th October – 3rd November – Ghost Tours – learn all about Longleat’s ghostly residents and be spooked on this spine chilling tour.

Fireworks will be lighting up the sky on the following dates, 25th & 26th October and 1st & 2nd November.

9th November – Festival of Light – be totally amazed with this fantastic feature now an annual part of Longleat’s events, this years theme is Myths and Legends and will no doubt prove to be truly magical, book early to avoid disappointment.

The annual Bath Christmas Market is taking place a little later this year, 28th November – 15th December, 18 festive days with Christmas cheer in abundance.  The market gets very busy at the weekend and we always advise our guests to try and visit during the week for the best experience.

With plenty of parking at Old Parsonage House and two lovely pubs within walking distance wherever you plan to visit this Autumn why not stay with us, check out our Special Offers Page to see our Autumn and Winter offer available from Sunday 3rd November – Thursday 31st March (available Sunday – Thursday, selected dates).
